Aerodynamic Heating and Analysis Simulation

0 student

As objects are subjected to extreme flow conditions, they may experience significant aerothermal heating. This simulation, developed and tested by Elliott McKee, produces high-fidelity data that is critical to the design and performance analysis of thermal protection systems (TPS). The model also incorporates ablation chemistry theory to determine surface recession of an ablative coating during flight.
